Hi my name is Heather Brown.
I am a qualified and fully insured Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapeutic Counsellor.
In my private practice I work from a dedicated space within my home, which offers privacy in a comfortable relaxing environment for in-person sessions and video sessions.

I am registered with the National Hypnotherapy Society and The National Counselling Society.
I am part of the preferred provider programme for Workplace Options Employee Assistance programme.

I spent 2 years as a volunteer as a Counsellor within a charity in Dunfermline called Talk Matters.
I have spent over 30 years caring for others as a Registered Nurse.
I have spent many years assisting people with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health difficulties to make positive changes to various challenging behaviours which were stopping them from living life to the full. More recently caring for people who suffer from Dementia.
I became interested in Hypnotherapy and Counselling following a difficult period in my life. Through my studies I have learnt so much about my own reaction and responses to situations and I have gained a new perspective.
We are not defined by the issues we have lived through. We have the ability to take control, change our perspective and learn how to adapt and grow through them.
Hypnotherapy or Counselling can assist you to see what's holding you back and where you can make changes to achieve your goals.
